Mr. Frank's Steak

This is a signature recipe from Mr. Frank himself.  From our kitchen to yours, we hope you enjoy!



  • 10 oz. Strip or 16 oz. T-Bone Prime Aged Beef

  • ½ lb. of butter

  • 1 cup of fresh sliced mushrooms

  • 2 onion rings in light batter

  • 1 baked potato or french fries

  • 1 bottle of MAGGI®

  • Mr. Frank’s Original Seasoning


  1. Make sure you have a hot grill, BBQ, or frying pan.  Maximum cooking time is 5 minutes.

  2. Sprinkle Mr. Frank's Original Seasoning on steak evenly and brush with butter on each side.

  3. Cook to taste (rare, medium-rare, medium or medium-well).  Best results are rare and medium-rare.  The longer you cook a steak, the more juice you cook out of it.  Butter everytime you turn the steak.

  4.  Sautee mushrooms on the side, in the meantime.  Use Mr. Frank's Original Seasoning and MAGGI® to flavour to taste.




  1. Pre-heat steak platter or serve on wooden boar (preferable).

  2. Place finished cooked steak on board, sprinkly 5 to 6 drops of MAGGI® and brush evenly with butter. 

  3. Put sauteed mushrooms on steak and top off with crip fried onion rings.

  4. Garnish on side of steak with a piece of fresh green lettuce, slice of tomato, radish and twig of parsley.

  5. Most important fact, is to serve the steak immediately while hot, with potato, sour cream and hot roll.​​​​​​​​​​
