Mr. Frank's Lobster

This is a signature recipe from Mr. Frank himself.  From our kitchen to yours, we hope you enjoy!



  • One live lobster

  • ½ lb. of butter

  • ½ cup of salt

  • 1 whole lemon

  • 3 bay leaves

  • 1 bottle of MAGGI®

  • Mr. Frank’s Original Seasoning


  1. Boil one gallon of water in a large pot.

  2. Add whole lemon (cut in half), bay leaf, ½ cup of salt and ½ cup of vinegar.

  3. Place live lobster in boiling water and observe cooking times as follows: 1 lbs = 12 mins. / 2 lbs = 20 mins. / 3 lbs = 25 mins.

  4.  Use just enough heat to keep water boiling.

  5.  Prepare drawn butter, boil butter and skim off foam.

  6.  Spice butter with MAGGI® and Mr. Frank’s Original Seasoning to taste.




  1. Place 2 ounces of drawn butter sauce in a candle warmer.

  2. Serve lobster immediately with your choice of sides.

  3. Don’t forget the finger bowl with hot water and a lemon wedge!
